Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar is the American and British sitar artist. She won the British House of Commons' Shield in the year of her youngest and first female recipient. Apart from nine Grammy nominations and nine Grammy nominations, she also became the very first Indian-origin musician to perform at the award ceremony. Anoushka Shankar is a rising star on the Indian sitar. She is the student and daughter of Ravi Shankar. Born in London in 1982. She began her life by hopping back and forth from London as well as New Delhi. The first time she performed was on stage in New Delhi when she was just 13 years old. After moving to Encinitas, the state of California, in 1999 she earned the high-school certificate. Anouskha even though she is just 17 years old, has had an impressive recording and performing career. She frequently joins her father during performances, something she's done for several years. The first album she released as a solo artist, Anourag, was released in 1998. The Grammy-nominated Live at Carnegie Hall album was released in 2002. Apart from performing in all of the largest venues and venues, she also is a stage performer for a lengthy time. The career of Anoushka doesn't only comprise music. In Delhi at his 75thbirthday celebration, Anoushka made her debut performing the sitar in front of an audience at the age of four, following her nine year old father. As a part of her dad's band as his world tour, Anoushka racked up a wealth of experience performing in Carnegie Hall while still in her teens performing at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD festival and recording with George Harrison. She was the youngest woman to win the House of Commons Shield, presented by British Parliament to recognize her musical talent and artistic ability in music and the Asian Arts.
